Ancaster Legacy FC’s Indoor Recreational & Development Program gives young players a fun, supportive environment to build their soccer skills, confidence and understanding of the game!
Designed for U8–U11 boys and girls, the program combines quality coaching and technical development with plenty of opportunities to play, compete and enjoy soccer with their teammates.

Each one-hour session combines age-appropriate skill development with small-sided games, giving players plenty of touches on the ball and opportunities to put what they’ve learned into action. Sessions are led by engaging, soccer-specific coaches with experience playing and coaching at competitive levels, including iModel, OPDL and post-secondary soccer.

The Indoor Recreational & Advanced Development Program features include:

  • U8/U9 and U10/U11 Programs: Boys’ and Girls’ programming for players born from 2016–2019.
  • 10-Week Indoor Season: Sunday sessions beginning October 25 at the Redeemer Dome in Ancaster.
  • One-Hour Sessions: A combination of skill development ending with a small-sided game
  • Technical Development: including Ball mastery, passing, receiving, dribbling and finishing.
  • More Touches, More Learning: Activities designed to keep players involved and give them more opportunities on the ball.
  • Experienced Coaches: Fun, engaging, soccer-specific coaching focused on each player’s development and overall experience.
  • Fundamentals-First Approach: Age-appropriate instruction
  • Player Pathway: Players who demonstrate strong aptitude, enthusiasm and readiness may be invited to experience training with an Ancaster Legacy Grassroots or Competitive team.
  • Technical Support: Coaches receive support from the Club’s Technical Director and technical staff to help provide a consistent, positive experience throughout the program.
  • Player Kit: All registered players receive a shirt and soccer ball.
