Why Select the First Touch Skills Development (FTD) Program?
Starting soccer at a young age should be fun, engaging, and confidence-building. Our First Touch Skills program is designed specifically for very young players, helping them develop comfort with the ball while building the skills needed for for future sports.
Led by experienced youth coach Morris Parras, sessions focus on creating a positive first experience with soccer through playful activities, technical skills, and age-appropriate games that keep children active, smiling and developing.
With small group sizes and personal attention, players receive the support they need to develop confidence, coordination, and a love for the game—while preparing them for Grassroots and Competitive programming in future seasons.
This program is ideal for families looking for a structured, welcoming introduction to soccer, and ongoing development for their young athlete.
Weather and Uncontrollable Event Cancellations
Ancaster Legacy Football Club makes every reasonable effort to deliver all scheduled programming; however, from time to time, sessions may be cancelled due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond the Club’s control (including facility closures, field conditions, public safety advisories, or other unforeseen events). In such cases, partial refunds, make-up sessions, or program credits will not be issued.
Registration fees are structured to reflect the overall cost of program delivery; including facility rentals, staffing, insurance, equipment, and administrative expenses which remain fixed regardless of individual session cancellations.
We appreciate the understanding of our families as we prioritize safety, sustainability, and the long-term viability of our programs.
